Web3 Business Model

SlamNet's revenue streams are generated through innovative mechanisms that leverage its unique position at the intersection of enriched, proprietary data and blockchain technology. Here are the main sources of revenue for SlamNet:

  • SlamLink Access Fees: Application developers spend $SLAM for provisioned access to data in the SlamLink pipeline, with the price directly proportional to the volume of data they provision for consumption.

  • Fees for Licensed SlamChain Data: Application developers pay licensing fees in $SLAM via smart contract to both enriched data providers and to SlamNet each time a transaction executes on SlamChain that accesses the licensed data. These fees may be passed along to the end user directly, indirectly, or not at all.

  • Transaction Fees on SlamChain: End users pay $SLAM gas fees for each transaction that occurs on the chain. (This does not include the enriched data that is fed gas-free onto the chain, as discussed several times in this litepaper).

  • Sponsorship and Advertising Revenues on SlamX: Advertisers and sponsors spend $SLAM for amplified access to the wide reach of industry watchers who follow web3 on SlamX.

This model encourages a cycle of growth and innovation, with revenues reinvested into the platform to enhance its offerings, expand its data capabilities, and increase its value to end users.
